I am currently taking your turmeric capsules once a day in the morning but was wondering if I could also apply turmeric essential oils at night to my knee joint as I’ve read that it works through the night to help with joint problems.

Many thanks for getting in touch. Yes, you can also use a topical oil/ointment for local relief if needs be. You don’t mention what the preparation is called – be sure to check the strength to ensure it is sufficient to bring relief. Alternative approaches for you may be to take a second Natruflex in the evening if one a day if not sufficient currently. You can always drop back to one capsule daily once the discomfort has settled. Also, you could try Weleda Massage Balm – an aromatic warming massage balm applied topically to the affected area. Oil of Wintergreen (not available from us) is also a very warming oil for gentle massage.
