KEY INGREDIENT

Black Pepper

The Bioactive Transporter

The Science

Black pepper comes from a flowering vine, which is part of the Piperaceae plant family. Its fruit — the peppercorn — is picked and dried and used as a spice or seasoning in food. Piperine, the active compound in black pepper, has potent antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties.

Black pepper acts as a transporter within our supplements, moving the bioactives to where they need to be and helping their absorption across the gut wall. For optimum results, we use modern extraction methods to increase the piperine concentration in black pepper from 3-7% to 95%.

The piperine concentration in our Natruflex supplement takes the curcuminoid bioactives from the gut and into the tissues. Without the 95% piperine, most of the turmeric bioactives would simply pass through the gut, wasting the health benefits completely.

Health Benefits

Black pepper acts as a vital transporter for the bioactives within our supplements. Thanks to black pepper our Natruflex supplement can effectively:

  • Sooth joint and muscle discomfort
  • Help protect the gut
  • Aid sports performance and recovery
