Can I take all of my Naked Pharmacy Supplements together?
All of our supplements work alongside each other safely. We recommend that all but one of our supplements are taken with or after food each morning.
Are your products made here in the UK?
Yes, we are proud that all of our supplements are all manufactured in the UK.
Is all your packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes! Our packaging is totally recyclable, both the glass jar and lid can be placed with roadside recycling. Our pouches are biodegradable and fully recyclable also.
The Naked Pharmacy - does this mean there are no synthetic additives in your products?
That's right! We have absolutely no synthetic additives in our products. Our supplements are 100% powered by foods plants.
How much of the supplement should I take?
Each food supplement has the directions printed on the label below the ingredients.
Can I take food supplements alongside medication?
Supplements from The Naked Pharmacy are safe to take alongside most prescribed medicines. However, before you commence a potential supplemental regimen we recommend that you contact one of our pharmacists to discuss this fully.
Can the food supplements be used in pregnancy and lactation?
Our general advice is no, they can't. However, we would love to speak to you about this. Please call to speak to one of our pharmacists so we can tailor our advice to you individually.
Which food supplements are for children?
Saffrosun for Children® is recommended for psychological support, to aid sleep and combat fatigue in children from 6 yrs up to 14 yrs. For all other supplements please see individual product labels.
I have trouble swallowing capsules, can I open them?
Some of our food supplement capsules can be opened and added to drinks and food stuffs, they may even enhance the taste! However, others should not as they have a more bitter taste. Please call us to speak to one of our pharmacists to allow us to advise you individually.
Are your food supplements organic?
We strive to have 100% of our supplement range Soil Association certified organic. All the organic food supplements will have ‘organic’ in the product title and feature the Soil Association and EU Organic logos.
How do I store the food supplements?
Capsules should be stored in their original packaging at room temperature (8-18℃), in a dark location away from any sources of humidity, such as the kettle, hob, fridge or bathroom. Always check the label for full instructions.
How do I know if the food supplement contains allergens such as gluten, dairy or nuts?
By law the allergens gluten, nuts, soy, dairy, fish and shellfish must be highlighted in bold typeface on the ingredients list if they are in the food supplement. Our supplements are free from all synthetic vitamins and minerals, artificial colours, flavours, preservatives, wheat, fish, egg, diary, lactose and gluten-containing ingredients. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Are these supplements safe for nut allergy sufferers?
We take allergy status very seriously. None of our formulations include nuts or nut oils. Our manufacturing plants have been certified as nut free, they do not process peanuts, or products thereof; nuts are not permitted into the premises. All cleaning procedures have been validated to eliminate cross contamination between lines.

What quality standards are your nutrients certified against?
The organic food supplements are certified organic by the Soil Association, who are the gold standard authority in organic certification. All the organic food supplements will have ‘organic’ in the product title and feature the Soil Association and EU Organic logos.
What testing do you carry out on your supplements?
We guarantee that each batch of each supplement is tested by one of our pharmacists to ensure that they contain the exact quantity of bioactive. This testing is done by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), a pharmaceutical industry level of testing.
What additives are used in the food supplements?
None! The Naked Pharmacy food supplements are 100% active ingredients and do not contain any non-nutritive substances, for example; fillers, flow agents, bulking agents, artificial colours and flavours.
Are your food supplements tested for purity?
Yes. We test above and beyond UK legal requirements. All products are tested for contaminants, heavy metals and microbiology. The actives are also tested by HPLC to confirm the effective levels in every batch. This is high performance liquid chromatography which is pharmaceutical industry level analysis.
How do you decide what nutrients to include in a food supplement?
We use the highest standard of human clinical trials to optimise the strength and range of bio-actives which demonstrate significant improvements in specific conditions. We then manufacture every batch of our supplements to these pharmaceutical standards.The soil, climatic, growing and harvesting conditions are fundamental to our quality standards so our raw materials are carefully sourced; from India for our turmeric, Spain for our saffron, olive leaf and black garlic and Southern Italy for our bergamot fruit. Our Marine Magnesium is sourced from pure sea water from the Irish coast. Where possible we always try to source ingredients locally.
